Dear Parents/Guardians,

A pleasant day! Our school recently won academic achievements from the recent Scholastic Readers' Cup; signifying the importance of fostering a love of reading and encouraging our children to reach new heights in literacy and comprehension. At EPDP, we believe that reading comprehension is really important due to the rapid development of technology and social media. Students must and should be able to think critically and grasp concepts as they navigate through a newer landscape which requires extensive comprehension and understanding.This is why we , at EPDP, would like to ask for your continued assistance in supporting the future of our students in making sure that they will achieve excellent reading proficiency at HRSK.

Starting on the 5th of November 2024, all students from G1 to G10 are to read one book and take one book quiz that can be assigned to them or a book that they find interesting. Appropriate monitoring will be provided by our EPDP Implementers to ensure that this is not just a subject requirement in English but it will become a habit that the students will get as they build a strong literacy foundation at HRSK.
